Aurora Borealis – 10/05/24

Drumpellier Country Park & Gartcosh, Scotland

The night of the 10th of May was completely nuts! That is by far the most impressive display of the Northern Lights I have ever witnessed here in Scotland. What an incredibly special evening.

I had the pleasure of sharing this special experience with my wife and daughter before I headed off to a nearby woodland area to seek out complete darkness. It was quite the light show, and it went on for over 4 hours! I really hope that as the solar activity peaks over the next 12 months we get to witness something similar again, as words fail to describe how beautiful it was…
